A meeting of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences was held at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Swat, under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah. The Dean and faculty members of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences attended the session.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor was briefed on the faculty’s performance. Various matters were reviewed, and he issued directives to further enhance efficiency and quality.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah highlighted the importance of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and placed special emphasis on strengthening the functionality of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. He stated that in order to provide the best facilities to livestock farmers, not only should the hospital’s services and facilities be improved and expanded, but veterinary medical camps must also be organized in remote areas. This would ensure that farmers and livestock owners can access healthcare closer to home while establishing stronger connections with the university-managed hospital.

The meeting was also attended by Additional Registrar Dr. Khalid Khan, Advisors to the Vice Chancellor, and other relevant officials.
