On the directions of the Honourable Vice Chancellor, the Directorate of Information Technology organized a comprehensive training session for the faculty members of UVAS Swat in the Main Conference Room. The session focused on the newly introduced digital attendance system and was conducted by the Assistant Director IT, Mr. Maaz Ali Mumtaaz, along with the IT team. Faculty members representing various academic departments actively participated in the training.

The Attendance Application has been launched on a trial basis with the approval of the competent authority. The system is designed to streamline attendance management by ensuring quick and efficient marking, minimizing manual paperwork, enhancing data accuracy, maintaining secure digital records, and enabling effective monitoring of staff and student attendance. This initiative also promotes transparency, accountability, and improved administrative oversight.

This important step reflects the university’s commitment to digital transformation and modern governance, highlighting the visionary leadership of the Honourable Vice Chancellor and the continued support of the Additional Registrar, Dr. Khalid Khan, towards strengthening institutional efficiency through technology.
