The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Swat, and the private organization Elevators signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting students’ technical and professional capabilities and providing them with modern technical and training opportunities.
The MoU was signed on behalf of the University by Dr. Khalid Khan, Additional Registrar, while Mr. Osama, Chief Executive Officer of Elevators, signed on behalf of the organization. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Qazi Zia-ur-Rehman, Advisor to the Vice Chancellor, the Assistant Director (IT), relevant university officials, and representatives from Elevators.
This important development reflects the visionary leadership and commitment of the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah, who continuously strives to enhance students’ professional competencies, foster innovation, and strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
Under this partnership, UVAS Swat and Elevators will work jointly to equip students with technical and professional skills aligned with market demands, facilitate better employment opportunities for graduates, and expand access to quality technical and vocational training.
On this occasion, Dr. Khalid Khan, Additional Registrar, stated that this MoU reflects the University’s commitment to equipping its students not only with quality education but also with practical skills, enabling them to serve successfully as competent professionals at both national and international levels.
