Upon the direction of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Shakeeb Ullah, and with the keen interest and support of the Additional Registrar, Dr. Khalid Khan, a team from the Faculty of Sciences visited the Regional Blood Center, Swat, to strengthen academic–industrial collaboration.
The delegation was led by Dr. Shahzad Ahmad, In-charge / Head, Faculty of Sciences, and included Mr. Miraj Iqbal, Head of the MLT Department; Mr. Adnan Haleem, Lecturer, MLT Department; Dr. Muhammad Usman, Director ORIC; and Dr. Muhammad Asif, Deputy Director ORIC.
During the visit, the team engaged in productive discussions with the management of the Regional Blood Center regarding joint initiatives in training, research, and student skill development. The visit concluded with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting mutual cooperation in education, clinical exposure, and capacity-building activities.
This collaboration marks an important step toward enhancing academic excellence and creating meaningful opportunities for students and faculty alike.
