On 12 March 2026, an important meeting was held in Peshawar under the chairmanship of the Additional Secretary of the Higher Education Department. The purpose of the meeting was to finalize information regarding various allowances provided to government employees and to collect the required data from the relevant institutions.
Representatives from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat and other concerned institutions participated in the meeting. During the session, detailed discussions were held regarding the allowances of government employees, their procedures, and the current situation. It was emphasized that all institutions should provide accurate and complete information regarding the allowances of their employees so that the government can facilitate future policy-making and financial planning.
From the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat, Dr. Khalid Khan (Additional Registrar), Mr. Muhammad Fayyaz-ud-Din (Assistant Director Finance), and Mr. Ajmal (Assistant Auditor) attended the meeting. On this occasion, Mr. Ajmal delivered a detailed presentation highlighting various aspects and information related to the allowances of government employees.
The participants discussed the presented points in detail and expressed satisfaction with the information and suggestions provided. It was also agreed that all relevant institutions would submit the required details to the Higher Education Department within the stipulated time so that a comprehensive and authentic record regarding the allowances of government employees could be compiled.
The participants described this initiative as a positive step toward transparency in government affairs, effective financial management, and improved administrative coordination.
