*zero visit* of the delegation of Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) was held at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat on 12 August 2025.
The meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
The meeting was presided over by Pakistan Veterinary Association and Member Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council Mr. Dr. Habib ur Rehman.
On this occasion, Dr. Alamdar Hussain Malik, Advisor University and Dr. Khalid Khan Additional Registrar briefed the delegation of PVMC in the University Conference Room about the academic matters of the University through presentation and appreciated the tireless efforts of Professor Dr. Shakibullah, Vice Chancellor of the University. On this occasion, the honorable members of PVMC took a detailed review of the academic, administrative, clinical, laboratory and infrastructure facilities of the University. Heads of various departments and faculty members briefed the council on teaching activities, faculty competency, student facilities, clinical training and research activities.
The Council appreciated the preparations of the University and noted the role of UVAS Swat as important in promoting veterinary education in the future. The meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere and at the end Mr. Azad Khan Khattak and Dr. Khalid Khan awarded shields to all the members on behalf of the University. Submitted. The PVMC delegation expressed satisfaction on the arrangements and gave further tasks to the university administration for the future to bring them to completion by the second visit.
